The car constantly had mechanical problems.

Suboptimal location at the airport. Bus and small shuttle bus needed to get there. Outdated office space. Lots of paper work that was outdated and vague. Insurance not included in the rental price, some hassle with external website for this. Signing of photos of the state of the car before actually seeing it.

I had reserved and prepaid for a mid size car and they gave me the lowest economy car. I told them that was not the car I had reserved but they refused to change it. They also made me pay for an extra insurance even though I showed them the insurance confirmation email I had prepaid. So I ended up paying twice for insurance. Finally, they made me pay for the car cleaning service even though the car was practically clean at return. Not the best service to be honest, small company, not a big fleet to choose from.

Very disappointed. Van I rented was not available, the replacement was not cleaned properly rear wheels were almost bald, and steering was misaligned. Further it was too small for my trip and luggage. This was all at the last minute on a long weekend. When I called to complain KAYAK sent me to DOLLAR and DOLLAR sent me to KAYAK. I will never use KAYAK or DOLLAR again there is no point making a reservation a month ahead of trip when both company’s over books reservations. And hope you will take what they have in there lot. Further customer service was non existent, call centre staff had little command of English were completely useless, and unable to understand my displeasure and frustration when I explained, I needed a van to transport my daughter and supply’s to university and that I could not postpone my trip because we had hotel reservations. Covid is not an excuse for incompetence.
