Toyota car rentals in Milton

The office was close to the main train station and easy to find with only a few minutes walk. Pick up was great, the guys spoke English very well compared to my mediocre German, they even brought the car to the front of the office. The car was nice and clean with built in GPS which was awesome for what we were planning to do. The problem arose when we tried to return the car after hours. We were not told were to return the car to, so we read the note on door telling us to drop it at the gas station on the corner. The gas station guy said we couldn't leave the car and to put it in the garage...except he didn't specify which garage. We went to closest garage and finally found the drop area but had no idea where to drop the keys. Luckily the garage attendant helped otherwise we would have taken the keys with us and had to return to the office the next day. It would have been nice to have more instructions when we picked up. In there defense, they were dealing with an entitled 22 yr old who was throwing a fit because she couldn't rent a luxury vehicle and drive it one way to Munich that day, so they were distracted.

It was really frustrating that my 25 year old daughter, who lives in my home (easily verifiable, with a look at both of our drivers licenses), couldn't be added as a driver because she chooses not to have a credit card. She probably has a larger savings account than I do, and zero credit card debt, but somehow I was a safer risk than she is. Your staff was fine, the car was fine, picking up and dropping off was fine. What wasn't fine was driving tired because I couldn't add a second driver because she "only" has a debit card.

Horrible. The car was old and dingy with 100k miles. It was a Toyota Yaris that could barely make it up the hilly island of St Kitts. I arrived on Thursday to pick up my car at the airport only to be told it was a holiday on the island and they were closed, so I had to take a taxi to my hotel. I reached out to the local Thrifty the next morning only to be told they never got my rental even though I provided them my rental agreement confirmation. Then it took forever to rent the crappy car which now impacted ny first 2 days on the island. The rental office staff was very unresponsive, lacking any caring to my situation. Overall horrible experience and will never rent from Thrifty anywhere in the world.

Stood in line for 1.5 hours to pick up the car. Car was dirty and dented, and they made it a bit of a hassle to get the dents registered (glad I did, because it was the first thing they started writing up when I returned it).

No issues

Everything was top notch, other than the vehicle could of been clean. Windshield had bugs all over it and looked like someone poured something out the window that splattered all down the side... lady at front desk was extremely nice and helpful.

Friendly staff, didn’t go hard on the insurance upsell. Good quality car for my trip.

Charged an extra day we did not book or use and a drop off fee that was not included in the contract. Extremely dishonest marketing.

I already refilled the fuel full but charged me refilled charge and service charge again, it’s considered double charged.

They postponed my pickup time from 10am to 1:30pm on the evening of my reservation.. I had to find a new car rental at a very high price bc it being at the last minute. Do not use this company

I did not take a rental vehicle from them because they tried to add on extra fees and charges at the pickup counter even though I paid in advance online for the agreed rental vehicle and was denied a refund of my up front payment. This company needs investigating by the relevant authorities since I believe that I had been scammed by them. DO NOT RENT VEHICLES ONLINE OR EVER FROM YORK CAR RENTAL !!!

Easy rental and great car

There were extra fees and costs that are not clearly disclosed when I first booked the car. It was a long wait to get the car, and the guy who I gave the car back to was not very friendly. I wouldn’t recommend them

Filthy parking garage and dead birds/garbage in the stairwell. The elevator didn’t work so had to haul bags up 5 flights of stairs. The car was brand new and great and staff was friendly and excellent 😊

They were not at the central Houston (IAH) rental car area. They would not come pick us up at the airport before we sent them A LOT of information that is normally asked for when you check in to pick up a rental car. They said that we should call their driver to come pick us up. They made it very difficult to rent the car--so much so that we abandoned the rental and went over to another company on the spot. TOO MANY RED FLAGS. Will never, ever rent from them again. And you shouldn't either.

Staff were professional.

I used City Car and Truck Rental on my last trip to Toronto. A person always worries about bad experiences when using a cost effective anything, but right from my plane landing until them dropping me off at my terminal the experience was very good. The staff have clearly been chosen for the people skills and that is always good. They are not at the terminal, but a driver picks you up promptly at Viscount station and within five minutes you are at depot. The check-in was rapid and friendly. Not sure if the savings are always good, but on a six day rental I saved over five hundred dollars. Solid experience attached to great savings wins the day for me. Highly recommended.

I found out the day before my rental started that the office closes at 5:30pm. My flight didn't land until after 7pm so I would've been stuck there. Rediculously poor. had to cancel and book with another company at twice the price. Unreliable. The website lets you choose pick up times after the office closes. Never again will I book with this company.
