Pros (+) I think breakfast is so nice and location is awesome.
Pros (+) The common areas were very nice, there was a fridge, microwave and cutlery available to use. The atmosphere was very nice and the rooms were quiet . Location was great, one block from Plaza Mayor. Carrefour and Día meters away. They have hair dryers to lend, which is good in winter. The lower beds have curtains for privacy. I liked it very much. Breakfast is available for pay. There is a terrace t...
Cons (-) There was a mix up with the beds and I ended up sleeping in the upper bed. Mattress was not comfortable like the other reviews said. Bathroom is inside and there are no other bathrooms on the floor to use if it’s busy.

Pros (+) Great location close to everything in the center of Madrid by foot or metro, chill relaxed vibe from the personnel and quite clean and spacious regarding the hostel type of accommodation
Cons (-) It could have been a bit warmer at night, degrees were low now in December winter, even though there was a A/C in the room I felt that it would be more efficient if there were also some radiators to heat up
Pros (+) Great contemporary hostel centrally located. Everything is nearby.
Cons (-) Ground too cold, very cold to walk on in the room. Room is also very narrow.
Pros (+) The shower was really an experience. I loved the water pressure. The hairdryer in the restroom was also something that not all hostels have, so extra point for The Hat Madrid.
Cons (-) As I had to leave everyday too early in the morning, I was not so comfortable of brushing my teeth in the room. It would be fantastic to have a sink outside the bedroom, in the same area you have showers and toilet seats.
