Pros (+) It was a fun and great hostel! I loved that the toilets and showers were outside of the rooms.
Pros (+) The location is good. The rosenthaler platz U bahn and Metro station is literally next to it. There is a späti opposite to the hostel to keep you covered for late night outs and last minute buys. The staff were good and they also organise activities from time to time as well. Cons (-) Here I would like to talk about the design of the room. I have travelled solo a lot and lived in a lot of different hostels. Two things were quite strange about the room. So I was living in an 8 bed mixed dorm - 4 beds on each side. Pros (+) As a woman traveling solo I was intrigued by the unisex showers, but the solution was very well thought of and the cabin gave me complete privacy for my daily showers. The breakfast was very good!
Cons (-) The mechanisms that ensure doors are always closed is very loud, and with the comings and goings of guests on the hallway it can be annoying and wake you up from your sleep.
Pros (+) Location is great! I've stayed here a few times and always enjoy my stay.
Cons (-) This time the room was a little strange and harder to navigate with mobility issues. A lot of the restrooms on our floor weren't working, which meant I had to go to another floor and again, that is hard with mobility issues.
