No matter if you’re a frequent flier or someone who flies just once a year, we’ve got travelling tips that can make your whole trip smoother. Save time and save money with these four free and easy momondo travel hacks.

When should you go?

If you know where you want to go, but you’re not sure when would be the most budget friendly time to go, Flight Insight has you covered. Just make a search using your departure airport of choice, the destination you’re aiming for and any dates, then click on the Flight Insight, top right on the results page.

One little link – a whole lot of info

In the pop-up box, you can see how six different factors affect the price of your trip: airline, airport, season, day of the week, time of day and how many days before departure you should book for the best flights. Now you’ve figured out when it’s cheapest to go, make a new search using these filters and off you go!

Found a route but willing to wait?

If you’ve got your next trip in mind, but you’ve not booked yet, why not set up a Fare Alert to keep track of the price. If you see it going up, it might make sense to book it sooner rather than later (don’t forget we also recommend booking 53 days in advance). Once set up, you’ll receive an email up to twice a week notifying you of any price changes.

All you have to do is make your search, then hit the orange Fare Alert button by the results.

Stay on top of those prices

If you’ve already got a momondo profile, your Fare Alert will be added to your profile.
