Drop off was super easy

Reserved a mid size SUV months in advance only to be told they didn’t have any. Said there should be some coming in if I wanted to wait a couple hours. Offered me an “upgrade” to a mid size sedan. Since I didn’t feel like sitting in an airport waiting I took it. He then proceeded to try and charge me over double until I produced the email with the reservation and price. I reserved the type of vehicle I did for ease of getting in and out if I wanted a sporty midsize I would’ve reserved it.

The person at the counter told me she couldn’t add my AARP discount I had todo that thru the 800# . She had filled out a contract on an up sale vehicle and I advised that’s not what I needed as I was taking it one way and flying back. She had me go out and compare the 2 and make my decision. I can back to a line of customers in which I had no issue waiting my turn as I chose to walk out and look at the vehicles. She called me back to the counter asked which on I wanted made notes on the contract and sent me on my way. Never corrected the contract so I shouldn’t have signed it and waited until I got proper paperwork. I got the vehicle drove 30 miles to my home to load things and called the 800# about my AARP discount in which I’m told has to be done at the rental counter where I picked up the vehicle from. He gave me a direct # which I called back several (18) times with lapse in between and she never answered. I called the 800# back once I got to PA to see if I could extend my reservation for 2 days until my flight left so I’m not depending on others to take me to the airport when my flight leaves Monday and was told it would be an additional 560$ for 2 days. However since I didn’t get my discount from the original agreement they could take off $175 to $180 if I did return the car by the original specified time. I turned it in as agreed and wasn’t given my discount. I will not be renting from their company again.

Car was not clean and had many cosmetic damages. No one there to go over this at check in so I took my own pics tryued for 3 days to get through to someone lol I clarify they had this documented in their end So they went and tracked it charge me for this upon return. Never could get any assistance so hopefully this doesn’t happen if it does at least I do have my own back up she’s very frustrating to worry about something like that

Enterprise is conveniently located in this airport’s baggage claim area. Drop-off was quick & easy. An attendant promptly arrived for check-out. The walk from drop off isn’t long, no shuttle needed. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. This was one of the easiest car rentals I’ve experienced.

We appreciated being upgraded to a larger vehicle for our trip. We loved getting to drive the expedition but it smelled so bad like cigarette smoke. My leather bags now smell like smoke after driving in the car for a few days. I know it is hard to get the smell of smoke out of the car but maybe an air freshener could have helped mask the smell somewhat.

Waited for over an hour just to pick up the car. Car smelled like it has been smoked in a ton, and masked with potpourri. Car looked dirty too…looked like they spent 5 mins cleaning it before handing it off to us. Didn’t want to say anything to the agent because we couldn’t spend another second at the location, after already being there for over an hour. Also received 3 different responses about dropping off at another location and any fee associated with that.

We were allowed to book and then told no on either would be there to assist us. When we arrived to the airport, other passengers were being assisted. There would have been no issue with us booking and keeping the car. Communication was awful during the entire experience.

Easy checkout. Great price. Car had several dings, scratches and a dent. Was worried about the checking but the attendant was great. Cars are being used more and held longer. Inside was nice. I took pictures before and a video. Didn’t want any issues. Thank goodness none

The service was horrible, the lady who attended me, was so rude, I felt she was racist and she didn't treat me polite, she was screaming to me all the time, and told me something like "why I rent a car if I don't speak English". This was the worse experience service in my life.

There was a mix up with the pickup location to start. We came into the airport but the rental location was in town. They charged us an extra 180 to move the pickup location. Then on the tail end, our flight was delayed 3 hours. Called to see if we could drop off late so we wouldn't be stuck at the airport that whole time and they tried to change us for an extra day. I guess I expect all rental car companies to nickel and dime their customers so it was expected. But still pretty bad business practices and I wouldn't rent a car if I didn't have to.

Hertz online booking needs some work. We booked a one-way, once we arrived they said the could not provide a car. They seem to be the only rental car provider that wasn’t able to block one-way booking on their website or through other booking options, i.e. kayak, Priceline. Their customer service was not helpful in resolving the issue. Hours wasted driving to and from their location. I will not be using Hertz in the future
